The Keys to Learning a Language1. Everyone will make mistakes. You will learn more by making those mistakes!
2. Ask questions when you are unsure of something, ESPECIALLY if it has to do with your homework for that day. 3. Practice using the language in class by participating in the discussions and practice at home as well. 4. Review the concepts learned in class that day and take the time to review older concepts as well. 5. Complete your homework the day you have French class. It's much easier to get the homework done when the information is fresh in your mind. You can then use the next day to go over it and verify that you understand what you've done. 6. ALWAYS complete your homework and/or assignments! They are to help you gain a better understanding of the different concepts. |
Missed a class? Make sure you...-check this website for homework and any upcoming assignments or tests you may have
-bring a note the DAY you return with the reason for your absence, the date or dates of your absence, and a parent or guardian signature -check your grade folder for any handouts that you may have missed -if you were absent on a test or quiz date, talk to me to make arrangements to make it up (usually your options will be after school, during lunch or in the morning at 8am); remember, you will only have ONE WEEK from the day you return to make it up! |
Want to be able to put accents in your assignments on your computer? This document was created to give you a quick reference for all the commonly used accents in the French language. It should work for everyone with a PC, however I'm not sure whether it will work on a Mac. It will ONLY work in Microsoft Word; if you wish to put accents in a PowerPoint presentation, you must have everything typed up in Word first, then you can copy & paste everything into PowerPoint.
